REGULAR MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT FUND
JULY 5, 2011
A REGULAR MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund was held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Ryan J. Bingham, Corporation Counsel Ernestine Yuille Weaver, members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund, Paul Samele, Elinor Carbone, Gerald Zordan, Marie Soliani, Drake Waldron and Nancy Michna.
Mayor Bingham called the meeting to order at 6:29 p.m.
MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Zordan, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the special meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police and Firemen’s Pension Fund on March 2, 2011. Councilor Samele abstained.
MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Samele, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held March 21, 2011. Councilor Soliani abstained.
MINUTES
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Samele, the Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes of the special meeting held jointly with the Board of Trustees of the Police and Firemen’s Pension Fund on May 2, 2011. Councilor Waldron abstained.
PENSION COMPUTATION: Anthony Aprile
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Zordan, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Anthony Aprile, Custodian for the City of Torrington Board of Education, effective June 18, 2011, after completing 27 years of service with the City of Torrington.
PENSION COMPUTATION: Roberta Waldron
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Carbone, the Board voted unanimously to accept the pension computation for Roberta Waldron, Deputy Registrar of Voters for the City of Torrington, effective July 1, 2011, after completing 16 years of service with the City of Torrington. Councilor Waldron abstained.
BUSINESS
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Soliani, the Board voted unanimously to consider business from the Board of Trustees. No business was presented.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Councilor Carbone, seconded by Councilor Waldron, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:31 p.m.
